What is a chick egg separator?
A chick egg separator is a practical tool in the kitchen that is mostly used when baking. Many baking recipes require that the yolks be separated from the whites. With an egg separator you can quickly and easily separate the egg whites from the yolks.
 
How to use the egg separator in the kitchen?
Using the chick (egg separator) in the kitchen is extremely easy. Proceed as follows:
Carefully crack the egg and let it slide completely into the chick/egg separator.
Hold the chick over the bowl in which you want to collect the egg whites.
Slowly tilt the chick towards the chick's beak and the egg white will flow out through the beak while the yolk remains in the chick's stomach.
You can now pour the egg yolk into another bowl through the top opening of the chick.
 
How could the chick be used if you don't want to use it to separate eggs?
Separating the yolk from the white is of course the chick's main task, but it can also be used in other ways:
As a coffee creamer or milk pourer, the chick is a cute eye-catcher on every coffee table, the milk (or cream) can be easily poured through its beak,
It can also be used as a sugar dispenser
or as an egg cup if the breakfast egg is not too small.

The chick weighs approx.130gr, it is approx. 6.5cm high and approx. 8cm broad. It was made in Handcrafted and is made of hard ceramic, i.e. it was fired at 1270°C for one day. When washing up, it also feels like it's in the dishwasher well.
